Hamish began his journey in Rural and Lifestyle Real Estate in 2004, following careers in agriculture, hospitality, and insurance. After selling his deer and beef farm in South Canterbury, he sought a new direction and found his place in real estate. He quickly built a strong business and loyal client base. A few years later, the chance to return to his roots in North Canterbury brought him closer to family—his two brothers still farm in the region.

Now based in Rangiora with Property Brokers, Hamish services North Canterbury and surrounding areas. The move to Property Brokers has been a perfect fit, aligning with his values of integrity, ethics, and genuine family spirit. Backed by a supportive team, his results speak for themselves.

Hamish and his wife Jane live on a lifestyle block they’re developing into a self-sufficient haven, growing their own food and enjoying a hands-on lifestyle. When not working, they love walking, gardening, tramping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Their grown-up kids live both in New Zealand and overseas, so travel is now an important part of life too.

With decades of life and work experience, Hamish knows the true value of listening, communicating, and understanding people. He believes real estate is not just about land – it’s about helping people achieve their goals, whether that’s upsizing, downsizing, starting fresh, or retiring.
